WE'RE MAKING A NEW RECORD AND YOU CAN HELP!

What started as a vinyl reboot of One Night at Giant Rock has turned into something even more exciting... with the legendary Eddie Kramer in the producer's chair, we are adding 6 or 7 new songs, remixing the original album, and releasing the new deluxe/ultimate edition on vinyl, CD, and high-resolution digital. 

Without getting into all the crazy details here (there are many; if you click HERE you can go down the rabbit hole) let's just say this is an independent effort to fund an amazing project with some very cool people. Eddie and I will be working with Victor DeLorenzo (Violent Femmes), David J. (Love & Rockets/Bauhaus), Tim Welch (National Velvet/Images in Vogue), Ray Farrugia (Junkhouse/Lee Harvey Osmond), and so many others ... 

i realize this is MY rock and roll dream. but hear me out.There aren't many records being made like this today. Truthfully, the returns are not often worth the money you put into it. But when you consider the result and the enduring pleasure it gives, shouldn't it be worth making? 

i certainly think so. i hope you do too. 

Even if you don't know Victor's and David's body of work as i do, the music Eddie has made is, quite literally, the soundtrack of our lives. This record will live on the same page in music history as Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Bad Company, Kiss, and the list goes on. and on. 

We've already finished our first single, which drops on August 4. Tracking begins August 1, and we expect to be done with the new tracks by mid-august, then, we'll dive into remixing the old tracks--which are already so great, i can only imagine how much more awesome they will be with Eddie at the helm!

FAQ

When does production begin? 

Mostly done now, we just mastered One Night at Giant Rock, plus our first 7", but still need to complete mixes for the second LP. Almost there!

When will the album be finished? When will i get my stuff? my vinyl? 

The first vinyl package will ready to ship by May 2024. Production timelines for vinyl are longer these days but that's a conservative and reasonable estimate. The second LP will ship in October. 

Where will the live shows be held? 

One on the east coast (New York), one on the West Coast (Los Angeles), and a third to be determined by the contributor. 

Will there be a tour to support the album? 

We'd love to but we'll focus on the album first and go from there. 

When are the sessions taking place? 

We will be tracking in August 2023, remixing the previous tracks before that, mixing the new tracks, and mastering after that time. Mastering likely in October. 

What's Eddie Kramer like? 

He's super cool! And his stories are epic (as you can imagine) ... 

If we come to a session, do we get to meet and hang with everybody? 

Yes! That's the whole point -- we want to bring you into our world, to experience this up close and personal. You'll meet a lot of characters, and rock stars, and see what it's really like to work at this level. It ain't all fun and games, but it sure is magical ... and when we break for eats, you've got a seat at the table! Lunch and dinner are on us! 

If I come to a session, can I bring a plus-one?

Yes you may. We will be speaking with you beforehand to get to know you better so we can talk about you and your guest at that time. 

What studios are you recording in? 

So many studios! So far, Revolution Recording in Toronto, Lakeside Studios in Wellington, Reverie Recording in (near) Peterborough, and we'll be tracking at the Empire Theatre. Great rooms matter!
